Hassles RoseAnn's musical prowess & story-telling is just soo under-rated as to be near criminal/ Oh yeah she is that good. Wonderfully produced also. Yeah, I "think" I'm her biggest Aussie fan but I could be wrong!

about

I was supposed to write a press release for this EP so long ago and I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I had to be pushed into the studio to even get this EP done. It’s the last in a 3 part series and frankly I’m shit with goodbyes. There were times I really didn’t like these songs too. They’re about forgiving myself and forgiving the people who hurt me and I’d be lying if I said that journey was over. There’s a lot I love about these songs though. I love that I have a protest song that I believe in; I hope to do a lot more of that. I love that I got to capture the spirits of my friends and the places I’ve traveled. I love that after years and years of writing songs about my main man, we just might finally be getting it right (or not, love isn’t linear and you try meeting the love of your life at 23 and not fucking it up). I do want to thank him for understanding I have to put our life into songs and listening even when they’re not so easy to hear. These songs are about the people who live inside your bones and it doesn’t matter what new job you get or where you move to, they’re always with you and you know exactly who they are. I’ll be taking a break from putting out new music for a bit. I’ve changed so much and I’m excited to find out what kind of music this new version of me wants to write. I’m done portraying the sad, fucked up girl...someone else can take the mask.
